12+ credit hours

 

The DAP Award

Enrolled full-time in a Master’s or Doctoral Public Health (or related) degree program in the United States

9+ credit hours or equivalent

TIMELINE

May 24: Scholarships open
May 29: Information Session #1 (7pm EST)
June 12: Information Session #2 (7pm EST)
July 11: Scholarships deadline (11:59pm EST)
July 27: Awardees notified
July 31: Awardees must accept by 11:59pm EST
August 3-7: Scholarship awarded & announced

Yes! You must be an active BiPH member to be eligible for a BiPH Scholarship. See membership terms and conditions for details.

There is no character count or word count for the letter of recommendation. We will accept any length of LOR; however, ensure it speaks to your abilities and aptitude for public health.

Your LOR can be anyone that can speak to academic integrity, leadership skills, and/or commitment to public health. This could be a professor, advisor, preceptor, supervisor, boss, etc.

Either the applicant or the author can submit the LOR. If LOR author prefers, they may email it directly to hello@brosinpublichealth.org . Please indicate in your application if LOR will be sent separately.

No – not at all. There is no GPA requirement. We are open to diverse candidates regardless of GPA.

Funds will be disbursed directly to the student’s college or university.
